OverviewAs a Market Research and Insights Advisor within Experience, Marketing, Communications and Insights team, you’ll provide a wide range of research, analysis, and decision support services to deepen our understanding of the needs, attitudes, opinions, perceptions, and behaviours of our stakeholders. You’ll gather requirements, define research objectives, and conduct market research and leverage actionable insights that will enhance our ability to fulfill our mandate.How you’ll make a difference: You’ll build the understanding and trust that helps WorkSafeBC serve people across B.C.Where you’ll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, you’ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.What you'll doIdentify and scope market research opportunities to support strategic planning, decision-making, and program evaluationAccess a wide array of research methodologies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, surveys, panels, and online discussion boardsProject manage clear project milestones, providing on-going consultation and communication with stakeholdersWork cross-functionally within the organization to synthesize multiple sources of information (including secondary research)Uncover and deliver insights, implications, and recommendations that drive business improvements in an easy-to-understand and engaging mannerIs this a good fit for you?We’re looking for someone who can:Develop focused research objectives and identify appropriate research solutionsApply proper sampling techniques to achieve quotas, targeting, response rates, and representativenessSynthesize data and information quickly and efficiently to report findings and draw succinct conclusions for internal partnersBuild and maintain positive, effective working relationships with team members, partners, and clientsFacilitate workshopsLead research projects from inception to conclusionYour background and experienceA bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or social sciences with a focus on market researchA minimum of six years of experience conducting market research with experience of qualitative and quantitative research methodologiesWe’ll consider equivalent combinations of education and experience.Important to knowBefore we can finalize any offer of employment, you must:Confirm you’re legally entitled to work in CanadaWorkSafeBC’s COVID-19 Employee Mandatory Vaccine Policy (the “Policy”) is suspended effective January 9, 2023, however we reserve the right to re-implement it in response to changes in the public health landscape, including public health orders.
