In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our underwriting operations. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting underwriters with the administration and underwriting of new business and renewals, ensuring strict adherence to established underwriting guidelines, authority levels, and service standards. You will serve as a primary point of contact for brokers and partners, promptly resolving inquiries and maintaining high service standards.Additional Responsibilities:Adhere to organizational policies, processes, and procedures.Contribute to strategy and knowledge sharing in meetings.Maintain product, system, and process knowledge.Attend training courses and share insights with colleagues.Underwrite policies in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.Resolve client complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.Foster positive relationships with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders for high satisfaction levels.About youWe are seeking a dynamic Assistant Underwriter who has had exposure within the insurance industry (preferred), ideally with a domestic or commercial background. We value candidates who have developed a genuine passion for insurance and possess a keen understanding of its principles and practices.
