The Role
We are looking for an experienced Copywriter to join our team in Manchester to assist our Brand Copywriter. This role will focus on creating copy for our multiple sites, maintaining a recognisable and consistent brand voice across product descriptions, marketing materials and all brand copy alongside our Brand Copywriter.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and original copy content that is both inspiring and compelling to the Club L customer, communicating in our unique and identifiable brand tone of voice across all channels.

Create all brand copy, including, but not limited to, newsletters, printed assets, brand book, HR documents and marketing communications.

Project manage the launch of, and own, the company's blog. Creating engaging and trending blog posts that enhance the brand and grows customer engagement.

Ensure that all copy is clear, concise, grammatically correct and accurate.

Produce creative, engaging and informative product names, titles and descriptions that sell our products, fit our tone of voice and is customer friendly.

Own all copy for product descriptions across our websites– ensuring set targets are achieved while working alongside the wider team to meet launches and managers expectations.

Ensure all product and category copy is relevant and up to date in terms of product, seasonality and trends to maximise SEO performance.

Responsible for the creation and execution of SEO meta descriptions, titles and tags for new collection launch and category updates.

Review the copywriting strategy in line with customer and competitor insights, brand strategy and company goals and initiatives.

Support Marketing, CRM, & Trade teams with promotional copy and content updates for our websites and marketing channels.

Ensure accuracy and attention to detail by proof-reading and sub-editing all copy across multiple platforms all while taking into account SEO requirements.

Research competitor tone of voice, current trends and key search terms within fashion ecommerce.

Use google analytics to monitor key search queries and buzz words.
Requirements
- Highly motivate and experience in both E-Commerce and fashion or a similarly transferable category is desired.

At least one year experience in copywriting role.

Highly organised and self asses work with excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail.

Able to work autonomously, identify opportunities and own their own projects.

Self-motivated with the ability to work to a very high standard, at a fast pace and to strict deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong working relationships and work both independently and part of a team.

You should be capable of working to a varied workload with the ability to switch between tasks regularly and prioritising tasks.

Knowledge of SEO copy best practices.

IT skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Google Analytics.

You enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Excellent spelling and grammar skills required.

Understanding of Shopify would be a bonus but not a must.
