We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative person to join our team in NHS Borders. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of this new post and service. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to complete clinical and non-clinical duties together with service development activities.


The role: You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team which includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist and Respiratory Specialist Nurses in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) team, mostly based in a variety of community settings.


Your work will be varied and will include working both independently and as part of a team. When working independently with patients, you will work within protocols and with guidance from a qualified Allied Health Professional (AHP). You willcomplete elements of assessment and reassessment as well as deliver Pulmonary Rehabilitation in a group and, less often, on a one-to-one basis. You will also undertake some administrative duties to help the effective running of the team.
