An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Middle Office Treasury team for a permanent Graduate Treasury Analyst. The role will be working in a hybrid approach across our Newport & Cardiff City Centre Offices and some working from home.
We are fully committed to providing the successful candidate with a development plan and goal to work towards a career in Treasury and Finance. Full study support will be provided through a Treasury or accounting professional qualification and progression to Treasury Middle Office Analyst and then on to Senior Treasury Analyst.

What will you be doing?
As the Graduate Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring the Society’s daily performance, and key balance sheet risk measures including those relating to, capital, liquidity, interest rate risk and climate risk.
In this role you will be supporting the Treasury Middle office manager in the Treasury Middle Office and MI Function, in producing Asset and Liability Management (ALM) risk analysis - ongoing development of ALCO pack to be more standardised and forward looking, preparation and monitoring of forward-looking risk analysis.
In addition, working closely with Finance, Treasury Front & Back Office, Risk & Compliance and the Executive to further enhance our approach to Prudential Risk including improvements to models, controls, policy (Treasury Policy, Product Pricing Policy etc) and reporting / MI.

The ideal candidate will have at least to be:
