We are seeking a talented Test Automation engineer to join our team. In this role you' be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing the automation test function within Fraud prevention.
The difference you will make.
- Evaluating the suitability of test automation tools
- Creating test automation frameworks
- Defining and delivering automation solutions and standards for the wider Fraud Prevention team
- Supporting other Automation Testers within the team
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate details of the test automation framework
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and other members of the Scrum team, as well colleagues from the wider area
What you will bring.
- Extensive test automation experience
- A solid understanding of coding languages, Java, Javascript, C#, Python
- Developing test scripts for testing web-based applications from the front-end user interface through to backend and databases
- Writing SQL queries to obtain test data
- Experience of automated testing of web services, API’s and web applications is required
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using tools such as Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE)
- Experience of automated testing of mobile applications
- Advanced ISTQB qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, or similar computing subject.
- Experience of working in an Agile software development environment
What else you need to know.
We are currently working in a hybrid model, with a bank asking us to work 40% of our working weeks in the office. This means that we ask for 2 days a week in our Milton Keynes site, while the rest of the working week is based from home.
