No two days are the same - this is so much more than just a job!!
Join us as a Support Worker in St Albans, and work with children and young people who love to be kept busy trying new things and visiting new places.
What sort of thing might you be doing? You will support up to five children and young people with learning disabilities in all aspects of their daily lives. This will include supporting them to get ready for school, preparing meals, household chores and much more.
During the school holidays and weekends you could be supporting one of the young people to go to the beach, theme parks and other exciting activities.
Alex* loves visiting the farm, going to the library, reading stories with a cup of tea and hanging out in the sensory room.
Arnold loves to watch his favourite soaps, shopping and engage with work experience in a local charity shop.
Dave cannot get enough of getting messy, exploring in the garden and playing in the mud. Dave loves nothing more than tickles in the lounge and interacting with staff and playing in the park.
Jack enjoys doing puzzles, playing games on his iPad and loves his water play. Jack loves watching all his favourite Disney films and has even enjoyed a trip to the theatre.

If all this sounds like a great day at work, then join us on the journey to support each of the young people in a way which makes sense to them and help them create lasting memories.
This is a full-time role, 38 hours per week. The role is shift work, with early shifts beginning from 7am until 3pm and late shifts beginning at 2pm until 10pm. Weekend working is required and this is on a one on, one off basis.
We also have Relief (Bank) roles available at £9.10 per hour. (Relief posts support the permanent rota by completing shifts that are vacant due to staff absences.)
