SGD Lighting is a leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting products, and we are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our lighting products by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across England with Electrical Wholesale Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop account strategies and identify Electrical Wholesale Partners
- Develop account goals and business plans with Electrical Wholesale Partners
- Forecast, budget and track account revenues
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal sales team and external sales team
- Maximise call coverage with effective call planning
- Profitable pricing structure
- Continuous training and development of Electrical Wholesale Partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the lighting industry and trends, as well as SGD Lighting's products and services
- Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers and prospects to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regularly within England
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- A positive, can-do attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
Entry requirements
- Must have a 4 or above in GCSE Maths AND English
- Must have 1+ years clean driving license
- 18+ months sales experience ideal
- A passion for electrics and the impact lighting can have
- Willingness to travel and be on the road.
Training to be provided
Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship
A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service. They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation. They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.
A Sales Executive will develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation’s capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.
