Job Description
My client is a specialist Engineering business based in Spennymoor.
As a result of growth, they are looking to recruit a Junior Project Manager to develop within a busy and dynamic project team.
Purpose of role:
· Responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating, reporting and overseeing all Project related activities required for the execution of material/equipment supply and/or service/installation Contracts, ensuring that all Client and Company expectations are managed and met from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities:
· Ensure On-Time, In-Full, To Specification, Within Budget delivery of all Projects/Orders.
· Ensure Contracts are fully reviewed and accepted from a legal, commercial, technical and schedule perspective.
· Liaise with the Client and ensure that all Project deliverables required under the terms of the Contract are supplied accordingly.
· Oversee Project expenditure and ensure budgets (materials and labour) are adhered to, and improved where possible.
· Ensure accurate weekly/monthly forecasting and project status is communicated/documented regarding invoicing, revenue recognition, costs and general schedule adherence.
· Ensure Project Cost and Material Tracker spreadsheets are maintained/updated regularly (at least monthly, at month end).
· Ensure that Project Milestones are achieved and reported accordingly, focused on design/specification, procurement, production, testing, delivery and installation/commissioning stages.
· Ensure the procurement of goods and services required to supply all deliverables as detailed in the Contract.
· Control, schedule and assist with the preparation, collation and submission of all Project Documentation required under the terms of the Contract.
· Attend Client sites, where necessary, in order to conduct site surveys, design reviews, installation progress monitoring/reporting, trouble shooting and project completion/handover activities.
· Strong project change control management, ensuring profitability and payment for everything we do/provide, especially mitigating any potential penalty/liquidated damages claims.
Candidates should have at least an HNC in an Engineering discipline with some experience preferred.

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
