.Net Developer - Fox SportsLocation: ArtarmonAt Foxtel Group we are a cutting edge, digital business that brings both sports, entertainment, and technology together to deliver customers and fans a unique, world class streaming experience.We are looking for an experience .Net Developer to join our Fox Sports Stats team who will be part the development of a range of new and exciting projects we're launching to market.Reporting to the Stats Development .NET Tech Lead, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of a range of projects for both internal and external use. The projects developed within the team include a digital stats and web integrated solution, sports active applications and a range of statistical software and reporting systems across numerous sports.In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the SDLC from design, testing and maintaining/support of applications.The ideal candidate will have a keen interest and knowledge in sport, particularly in the area of sports statistics for Rugby League, Rugby Union, Cricket, Football and AFL.Your ResponsibilitiesWorking with the technology development team towards a digital integrated stats solutionMaintenance and development of statistical software and reporting systems for use within PMG and for external clients across a variety of sportsDeveloping new applications to assist with improving the efficiency of the stats production teamEffectively communicate technical concerns with other technical departments such as website, technology and external development teamsEnsure coding standards and practices are adhered to and quality of code maintained at all timesAssisting with the administration of a range of sports databasesAbout your experienceTertiary qualification in IT or related field3 years + development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies in both Windows and Web environments (C#, WPF, ASP.NET Core (MVC/Razor Rages), EF Core, .NET 6+/.NET Framework 4.8, EF Core)Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL Server developing complex Transact-SQL queriesDocker / AWS / Kubernetes highly advantageousDemonstrated experience in the full SDLCUnderstanding or interest in sports statistics is highly desirableAbility to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of personal stylesExcellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to prioritise and multi taskAbility to take responsibility for tasks and see them through to completionDemonstrated initiative with the ability to work independentlyLove for Entertainment or Sport - we're big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customerA career with us means working across one or more of our brands including Foxtel, Kayo, BINGE, Flash, Fox Sports and Foxtel Media.
