Join our team today.The OpportunityAs Mine Manager, you will lead a collaborative and diverse team to maintain safe and productive mine operations on site. Drawing on your extensive expertise, you will provide strategic advice and leadership to support the workforce.About the RolePlan, oversee and coordinate all mining related production activities including physical and human resources and budgets.Responsible for the overall management of mining projects.Assist in staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating performance.Ensure the safety and health of mine workers and recommend corrective action when problems are detected.Determine, implement and monitor production strategies, policies and plans to drive operational efficiencies.Plan production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements.Monitor production output and costs, and adjust processes and resources to minimise costs.Prepare production records and reports.Manage the implementation of occupational health and safety proceduresAbout youHold and unrestricted WA Quarry Manager certificate of competency.Engineering degree in mining related field highly desirableAt least 5 years experience in a similar role within mining industryManagement of budgets - understanding of profit/loss, budgets and cost reportsExperience with mine planning, contract management and mine circuit managementAbout UsWe partner with our clients to deliver excellence in open cut and underground mining in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
