The team’s focus is to ensure that Sun Life Group Disability responds appropriately to all Access to Personal Information Requests within legislated standards. The coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end review and preparation of requested content to a high level of accuracy and completeness. The Access Request Coordinator provides direct customer service to many stakeholders in support of these requests.What will you do?Process Access to Personal Information requests for Group Disability clients within established service and accuracy standardsPartner and communicate with other business units to ensure all requested information is providedProcess appeal documentation as requested by specific clientsRespond to inquiries from clients or third-party requesters using a client-centered approachInitiate and manage the breach containment process in cases of privacy incidentsRemain current on Group Disability practices and the Access to File Requests guidelinesWork collaboratively with internal business partners such as Disability Case Managers, Senior Disability Claims Consultant, Compliance Managers, the Privacy Officer and Linguistic ServicesInvestigate and resolve escalated issues or complaintsParticipate in projects as requestedIdentify and suggest Continuous Improvement opportunitiesWhat do you need to succeed? It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
