An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join – and help develop – the Gastroenterology service at Chase Farm & Barnet Hospitals. We are looking for an applicant who has experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopic to support the provision and development of service across both hospital sites. The successful applicants will work within the multidisciplinary establishment with outpatient gastroenterology clinics and endoscopy lists at the Chase Farm Hospital and inpatient work at Barnet Hospital. This post offers 10 PAs of combined direct clinical and supporting programmed activity. The successful applicants will form part of the out of hours GI bleeding service, contribute to the provision of an inpatient, outpatient GI service and Endoscopy sessions.
The applicants will be encouraged to contribute to the audit, research as well as under- and post-graduate teaching within the department.

- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- Full GMC registration
- MRCP or equivalent
- CCT or interview within 6 months of CCT date
- Outstanding research record
- MD or PhD
- Broad experience in general clinical gastroenterology and endoscopy
- Training and education of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Experience in integrated care service development and delivery
- Strong teaching skills and experience
- Understanding of clinical governance and audit procedures
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
- Reconfiguration of services or clinical innovation
