SummaryPlease read the whole job postingWe are looking for an experienced assistant directorMust be bilingual (English and Spanish)As an assistant you will have the opportunity to help lead a team that operates in accordance with our school's vision, core values, policies, procedures, and state licensing standards. This role will ensure a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for our children and families, while also placing an emphasis on team development for our incredible teachers.Qualifications:At least two years experienceBilingual- Spanish/English is necessaryMust meet licensing requirements and our training requirements.A degree in Early Childhood Education or a business-related field and at least two years' experience in a licensed childcare facility is required.Previous assistant director or Director experience in a licensed childcare facility is required.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in connection with the handling of children for the purposes of child safety and potential emergency situations.Skills:Full and extensive knowledge of state licensing standardsStrong leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of integrityAbility to provide and receive constructive feedbackSolution and detail-orientedStrong organizational and planning abilitiesWord, excel and sending emailsResponsibilities:Provides superior customer serviceEnroll childrenOrients, trains, and evaluates all staffAttends all campus special eventsKeeps school physically well-kept, attractive and safe.Maintain adherence to all state licensing standardsWeekdays from 8:30 am to 5:30/6 pm as neededAbility to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the school, including but not limited to, other Leadership positions,classroom positions, food service, or administrative positions.Benefits:Paid time off after a year of working with usProfessional development assistanceTraining reimbursement after 6 monthsBreakfast 2 or 3 days per weekKitchen with snacks everyday10% commission on tuition for every child that you bring and enroll in our centerTraining starts ASAP, starting wage is $14 - $16 per hr. depending on your experience and educational levelWe will see your job performance and within a month we will decide if this is the job for you; after 6 months we will evaluate your work performanceto see if you are a candidate for a raiseOur address is 24211 Kuykendahl rd.
