This will allow you to integrate into the family environment and help the child develop the skills necessary to improve a variety of skills. These skills are individualized to the client, but may include: toileting, feeding, behavior management, compliance, and many other developmental and educational tasks.Our company’s prime focus is providing the best possible quality of care to all our clients. We invest heavily in our people, tools, and resources to ensure we’re doing ABA therapy effectively, and that our clients and employees are thriving.Competitive starting wage - $25.00/ hourGreat work schedules – we assign our employees small caseloads so that you can dedicate yourself to 1-2 clients and not spend too much time commuting to different locations.Consistent and timely support, coaching, and guidance to help you excel in your profession.Company subsidized Health Insurance (CareFirst) for eligible employees.Paid vacation and sick leave.Company-sponsored 401(k) plan with 3% employer contribution after meeting the eligibility requirements.Opportunities to learn from the professionals: our dedicated Licensed Behavior Analysts team develops all programs, treatment plans and interventions.All tools and materials needed for your sessions so that you can focus on what’s most important – providing the best possible quality of care.Opportunities for growthPrincipal Responsibilities and Duties:This is a year-round position and not seasonal.Actively participate in the implementation of ABA therapy.Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.Document sessions by writing progress notes.Utilize safe and appropriate handling, management and guidance procedures when working with clients.Provide direct client care following the prescribed behavioral protocols/programs.Physical Requirements:Proficient in fine and gross motor skills, ability to hand over hand prompt fine and gross motor skills without restriction.Full physical range of motion to provide physical support to clients.Ability to physically write progress notes with assistance from supervisor.Must be able to perform a variety of physical and often repetitive activities including (but not limited to) standing and sitting for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling in the course of working with children with developmental disabilities and severe behavior problems.Must be able to hold/transport clients in the course of behavioral management.Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communicationMust have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.Must be physically present at the assigned job site.Must be willing to silence phone during session and attend to client without distractions for at least 4 hours per day.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to or more than 100lbs.Education Requirements:High School or EquivalentRequired license or certification:Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Additional Requirements:Valid Driver's LicenseMust have reliable transportation/Car – Bus and Uber are not considered reliable transportation.Powered by JazzHRBehavioral Framework
