Now Oritain is global, with additional hubs in Auckland, London, Washington DC, Sydney, and Zug.Our unique solution provides data insights and scientific traceability that helps some of the biggest brands in the world understand more about where their products originate from, helping to build trust and integrity within their supply chains whilst reducing the impact on the environment and society by tackling issues such as deforestation and modern slavery in supply chains.We are an innovative data company with big global ambition, and we need people who share our passion to be commercially successful and create powerful positive impact.The Role:The Senior People and Culture Coordinator is an essential role for the People & Culture team and will act as the first point of contact for the business, providing essential support to both line managers and employees with all people related queries. The role will have full responsibility for the day-to-day administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, immigration and mobility, payroll and reporting, and will provide a smooth and efficient operational service to the business and People & Culture team.We are a truly global business and whilst this role is located in London, there will be a requirement to provide support to our global teams across North America and APAC.Key Responsibilities:Administration:· Manage various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records in our HR system, processing changes in employment status, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.· Manage employee benefits administration, across the UK and the US· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support organisational objectives and employee needs.· Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.· Support visa applications.· Support resourcing with references, job postings and interview scheduling.· Maintenance of ATS documents, ensuring that they are always up to date.· Provide data required for reporting to management when requiredPayroll· Work with our outsourced payroll providers to process monthly payroll. Providing any employee changes to ensure that pay is processed accurately.Employee EngagementSupport the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events, working closely with our engagement forum.Coordinate employee recognition programs and initiatives.Identify opportunities to develop office culture, and support with the delivery of these improvementsCarry out exit interviews and report back on findings, to help drive improvementsEmployee Relations· Act as the first point of contact for all employee queries, and escalate to the Senior Global People and Culture Manager when necessary· Support the Senior People and Culture manager with employee relations documentationLearning and Development· Scheduling training sessions· Ensuring new hires are allocated the appropriate training in our learning platform as part of their onboarding· Support with administrative queries in relation to our learning platform and escalating to the Senior Learning and Development Manager when required.Requirements· Previous experience working in a People and Culture role, supporting with administrative tasks· Previous experience with working with HRIS, ideally Hibob· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.· A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.· Ability to work independently, and proactive approach to driving improvements.· Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.Benefits27 days holiday + 8 bank holiday2 days per calendar year for volunteering leaveBreakfast barEnhanced Maternity/Paternity leavePensionDiversityOritain is committed to its mission to build a world-class business that evolves for decades to come and helps create tangible change in the world.
