The school is a community special school with students SEMH this requires conducting thorough assessments to accurately identify and understand the social, emotional, and mental health needs of all pupils, ensuring that each individual's unique challenges and strengths are recognised and addressed.If you're interested in this role, then contact Haleemah at Balfor on 0121 260 0000.This will include supporting teachers with material preparation for lessons, assisting with displays and providing direct 1 on 1 or small group student support.The ideal candidate for a SEMH TA role should:Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in supporting children with SEMHPossess prior experience collaborating within the SEMH DepartmentExhibit flexibility, proactivity, and patienceShow nurturing and compassionate qualities in their approachesCommunicate effectively within a teamA new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.Requirements:Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN BackgroundPECS and Makaton training/experienceSEMH needs experienceLevel 1 safeguarding certificateRecent school based referencesValid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passportFull DBS - on the update serviceBalfor Recruitment
