Internal Sales / Technical Sales EngineerAre you a skilled engineer looking to use your technical expertise in a sales-focused role? This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering and manufacturing knowledge while developing a successful career in sales.About the RoleAs an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will utilise your technical understanding to provide expert product advice, identify customer needs, and propose tailored solutions.Key Responsibilities:Leverage technical expertise to understand and address customer requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal sales teams, and agents.Accurately interpret customer needs and recommend suitable products from our range.Efficiently manage the order process from receipt to delivery.Develop and grow key customer accounts in collaboration with the sales team.Provide technical support to the sales team and customers.Contribute to sales forecasting and budgeting.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product advancements.Required Skills and Experience:Strong engineering background with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the engineering manufacturing sectors.Proven ability to build rapport and trust with customers.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally SAP.Desired Skills and Experience:Previous experience in sales or a customer-facing role.In-depth knowledge of control and choke valves.Understanding of the Oil & Gas and Power & Industrial markets.What We Offer:Competitive salary (up to £42,000 DOE)Comprehensive benefits package including pension, healthcare, and more.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and collaborative work environment.E3 Recruitment
