The ideal role of this technician is to serve as an extension of our Internists and work as a team for the benefit of patient and client care. This technician will have an active role in client communication including communication of diagnostic results and procedures as dictated by the Internist, diagnostic and procedural organization, and facilitation, and assist in the short- and long-term management of their patients.This candidate ideally has a basic understanding of the various diseases seen in Internal Medicine and must possess a strong passion and motivation for further learning.Diagnostic procedures this technician will assist in include but are not limited to endoscopy (urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal), bone marrow sampling, joint taps, and feeding tube placements.
