We are recruiting for a Baby Room Leader to join our new nursery in Eastcote. Conveniently located next to the shops on Field End Road, we are just an 8-minute walk from Eastcote station, with a bus stop only a minute away, making us easily accessible via public transport.Position Details:- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a variety of shifts between 7:30am-6pm.- Salary: £28,392 - £32,935 dependent on experience.About Us:- Established our Northwood branch in July 2019 and expanded twice since then.- Eastcote is our second branch, and we are very excited about it!- We offer in-house training and support for further courses to enhance staff knowledge.- Significant room for career progression with a focus on upskilling our team.- Our beautiful building has 5 classrooms across 2 floors.- We use the user-friendly nursery app 'Blossom Educational' which is our sister company, to enhance efficiency and organization.What We Offer:- 28 days holiday per year, including 5 days at Easter, 5 days at Christmas, bank holidays, and the remaining to take in your own time.- One extra day’s holiday per year of service.- Additional holiday for your birthday.- Employee of the month rewards.- Christmas bonus.- Pension scheme.- Free uniform.- Three paid staff inset days per year.- Opportunities for further courses and qualifications, paid for by Blossom Tree.- Complimentary team-building activities and staff events.- Staff childcare discount.- Paid DBS, with a requirement to pay £13 annually for the Update Service.A Typical Day Includes:- Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.- Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily.- Ensuring the children are happy, settled, and content.- Observing, assessing, and planning for the children’s individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and creating opportunities for children to progress.- Keeping up to date with legislation in early education and ensuring all paperwork complies with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.- Familiarizing yourself with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these.- Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily.- Delegating tasks to ensure the smooth running of the room.- Sharing creative ideas and involving your team in classroom decision-making.- Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and securing bonds with the children.- Using our nursery app 'Blossom Educational' (training provided).What We Ask From You:- A full and relevant Childcare qualification at a minimum of Level 3.- Previous experience working as a Room Leader is essential.- Good ICT skills are essential.- Ability to be a positive role model for your team.- Effectively lead and manage the staff team in the classrooms.- Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS, Ofsted, and welfare requirements.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Passion, motivation, and the ability to work well within a team.- Adaptability to a fun and inspiring working environment.- A current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate.If you are an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader ready to take on a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
