From overseeing day-to-day activities to shaping long-term strategies, your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational success.Client Relationships & Contract ManagementProvide local leadership and strategic direction to build client relationships with focus on innovations and new business opportunities to enhance profitabilityDevelop a local business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs that is aligned with overall operations strategyEnsure delivery of contract services are aligned to the Service Level Agreement(s) and standards as requiredCarry out regular contract performance audits and internal compliance audits to support the delivery of Sodexo compliance objectivesIdentify opportunities for process improvements, innovations and service enhancements to drive client engagement and remain ahead of industry trends.PeopleLead by example; inspire your employees to follow your own actionsLead a team of over 100 employeesStrong employee relations including the ability to manage diverse teamsAbility to work collaboratively with and build positive relationshipsLead full HR life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, recognition, engagement, career development, etc.) for assigned siteOrganization, planning and monitoring of employee daily activitiesBusiness & Financial AcumenDevelop new and emerging business solutions for continuous growth and effective day-to-day operationsCreate and analyze budget/P&L statementsAchieve financial goals through daily analysis of key KPI’s of business operations and monthly business reviewsProactive planning of future business growth plans, including expansion of scope of servicesCulture & ComplianceEnsure that the site is compliant at all times for services delivered within scope, and ensure the rigorous means of recording these elements are maintained and regularly reviewedFoster a strong health and safety culture, for our employees and our clients and customersLead diversity and inclusion initiativesAdvocate for corporate social responsibilityDrive creative innovation, ability to drive changeDesire for continuous improvement and growth in compliance with operating standardsEnsure unparalleled levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of serviceCollaborate with support teams to develop and implement strategies to drive client engagement and revenue growth.Embody Sodexo’s core values: Service Spirit, Spirit of Progress and Team SpiritDirects business practices that uphold Sodexo’s mission and valuesQualificationsWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:5+ years of General Manager/Food Service leadership experience in a multi-outlet operationExtensive Conference Services and high-end Catering experience, preferably in a large-scale hotel or conference centrePost Secondary education in Hospitality Management or Business AdministrationStrong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and drive profitabilityExcellent client relationship and communication skillsA passion for culinary excellence and a keen understanding of trends in the food and hospitality industryExceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate large teamsStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering unparalleled serviceEffective problem solverSafety-first mindsetAdditional InformationWhat Makes Sodexo Different:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
