Generous Leave and Professional Development Benefits.About the rolesGEO Healthcare provides primary healthcare to men in Public Prisons across Victoria.Nurses employed by GEO Healthcare work to deliver high quality patient care to men in Victoria's public prisons. Nurses deliver health services which enhance and promote the health of people in prison through evidenced base, comprehensive and professional nursing care within a prison setting.Opportunities exist for full-time and part-time nursing staff at Loddon Prison, near Castlemaine.Nursing Staff will be employed under the terms of an Enterprise Agreement. Terms and conditions provided by this Agreement include:Registered Nurse salary range $71.6k - $98.3k.Annual increments to salary for Enrolled and Registered nursesCompetitive Shift and Weekend Allowances.Generous annual leave, long service leave and ‘continuing professional development’ leave benefits.For more information on this role, including more details regarding the key accountabilities, please click the appropriate link below:Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate will have:Essential:Appropriate nursing qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.Nurse immunizerMinimum one years of post-registration clinical experience.Ability to work without direct, immediate supervision in performing the role.Ability to plan and coordinate patient care.Competence in clinical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work within multi-disciplinary team.Ability to contribute to the professional practice within the health facility.Competence in written and verbal communication skills.
