Job description ABOUT THE COMPANY.Local Government offer 35 hours per week, Work From Home days, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.ABOUT THE POSITION.As a Traffic Engineer in an initial 3 month contract based in Western Sydney you will be responsible for assessing Development Applications in relation to traffic and dealing with complex traffic issues, including congestion, road safety and multimodal transportation.DUTIES.Assess traffic impact of Development ApplicationsUndertake investigation and preparation of report and estimates regarding traffic mattersProviding advice to internal and external customers on traffic, transport and parking mattersEnsuring that requests on traffic matters are processed promptlySKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or relevant qualificationsRelevant Civil project exposure such as roads, footpaths etcLocal Government experience is highly desirableDemonstrated knowledge of NSW Road RulesCULTURE.Expand on your skills and experience within this diverse and driven team of three.
