Austcorp Executive are partnering with a world leading Water Engineering and Hydro-geology equipment manufacturer who provide tailored solutions to the mining & utilities sectors.As the Business Development and Key Account Manager you will be responsible for the management of key mining accounts and the growth of the dewatering and pumping business. This person will also be responsible for supporting the external sales, engineering applications, service and spares team and the promotion and generation of profitable sales of the company products.As the Business Development and Key Account Manager your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:Maintain existing Key Accounts along with respective sales engineersBusiness Development of core products including tender submissionsWork with customers / end users on proposals and design work as requiredCommunication with manufacturing team on bore pumping and related inquiriesPump selections, including price and submission of detailed quotationsTraining and development of sales and service teamsReport project status, Win / Loss feedback and target projectsA little bit about you:Engineering background or mechanical trade experience with pumping equipmentA proven track record managing multiple sales cycles from creation to closePrevious experience with engineered products with hydraulic or mechanical component (Bore Pump experience preferred)Have excellent organisational and time management skillsBe capable of working independently and as part of a teamTechnical Aptitude for solving mechanical problemsCRM and ERP System experience – tracking sales and delivery cyclesWhat is in it for you?You will be rewarded with an above market salary, a challenging and rewarding working environment, with clear career progression and development opportunities.
