(pro rata) ASO6 | Fulltime - Contract until February 2025Lead the Way in Healthcare Data Analytics in a Casemix Team Leader Role with SALHN!As the Casemix Team Leader, you will spearhead the analysis and reporting of vital healthcare activities, enabling data-driven decision-making for effective monitoring, evaluation, and funding of clinical services.Your leadership will bridge the gap between data management, clinical models, and funding structures, fostering seamless collaboration among stakeholders to optimize patient care.About the Role:As the Casemix Team Leader, you will oversee operations & strategy for Casemix/Activity Based Funding service, gather, analyze & report healthcare data like admissions, ED visits, outpatient services. Reporting to the Casemix and ABF Manager, some of your primary responsibilities as the Casemix Team Leader will include:Coordinating and producing accurate information on healthcare activities within SALHN, which is essential for monitoring and evaluating clinical services both internally and externally.Liaising with different clinical units across the Local Health Network to understand their models of care and any changes in funding.Establishing and maintaining data sources, analyzing and interpreting data related to healthcare activities, and working closely with the patient costing team.Supervising and managing the Casemix staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations within the team.About you:Proven experience within a hospital Casemix/ABF service, preferably a tertiary service.Experience in data extraction and management, interpretation and analysis, including compiling databases and generating meaningful results to assist in hospital management.Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a complex environment and the ability to foster team participation and involvement.High level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with clients, professional staff and administrative staff both orally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to work complex calculations and maintain a high-level of accuracy.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.What To Know More?
