The position involves tendering, negotiating, and contracting, adopting a comprehensive approach to investment project management, and delivering exceptional service levels in purchasing agreements.The CAPEX spans a range of different areas such as new build construction, production equipment, trucks and yellow machinery, carbon capture etc.Excitingly, the client is adopting AI across procurement, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop in this area and streamline your workflow.You will:Implement strategic sourcing and create negotiation strategies that align with company policies, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communicationFormulate effective sourcing strategies, establish selection criteria, and manage relationships with approved suppliers to achieve optimal cost, service, and qualityOversee the CAPEX project tender processes, from initial evaluation through to legal contract development, particularly focusing on major assets and plant machineryCultivate collaborative relationships with internal teams, legal departments, and the Global Sourcing team to develop contracts and meet procurement objectivesMaintain operational continuity by managing purchasing contracts and coordinating with business units to maximize valueMonitor supplier performance against Service Level Agreements and provide actionable feedback to vendorsPromote continuous development and improvement by staying informed on market trends and introducing innovative procurement methods1st Executive
