HI Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director - Operations and Applications Management to join a reputable company in Luxembourg.As the IT Director for Operations and Applications Management, you will report directly to the Group CIO and assume full accountability for strategizing, executing, and overseeing the comprehensive utilization of IT across the organization. Additionally, your role will encompass spearheading IT-driven business initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, managing the IT budget, and providing supervision and governance over the activities performed by the IT Operations and Application Management teams within our esteemed IT department.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic plans for IT Operations and Applications Management, aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the IT Operations and Applications Management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Supervise the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.Manage the complete life cycle of enterprise applications, from selection and implementation to optimization and decommissioning, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.Manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers, and partners, ensuring adherence to contracts, service levels, and performance.Lead and prioritize IT projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions within schedule and budget.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and translate them into effective IT solutions.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to IT Operations and Applications Management.Identify, evaluate, and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities, through proactive measures and controls.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IT Operations and Applications Management, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices.#ITDirector #ITOperations #Applications #Management #Leadership #TeamManagement #AutomotiveRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleProven track record of successfully delivering large-scale IT projects on time and within budgetStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and lead a teamStrong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a high level of proficiency in both German and EnglishExtensive knowledge of IT project management methodologies and best practicesSolid understanding of ITIL principles, IT governance frameworks, and industry best practices.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesHuman Innovation Partners
