Clinical Nurse Consultant - OncologyWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to be part of our Medical ward at North Shore Private Hospital.This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity.Ramsay Health Care are leaders in healthcare and a rare opportunity exists for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our 312-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility in Sydney's vibrant lower North Shore. As the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will have the opportunity to be active in a leadership role, including the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, while working and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The opportunity also allows you to act as a clinical expert, professional role model and change agent to promote practice development and quality initiatives that promote the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality customer service.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset with the drive to succeed in a ward based leadership role. Your passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service will be matched by your ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation AgencyMinimum 3 years' oncology experience as a Registered NursePost-graduate qualification in a relevant area (desirable)Demonstrated experience in providing education to the teamAbility to assess, plan, co-ordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patientsKnowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practiceKnowledge and experience in Quality/Continuous Improvement processesAbout RamsayThe hospital's specialties include orthopaedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, intensive care, cardiac surgery, cardiology, ear nose and throat, vascular, plastics, oncology and general surgery.Comprehensive diagnostic facilities and medical consulting suites are also on site.North Shore Private, a Sydney University teaching hospital, is involved in some of the world's most innovative research programs.The North Shore Private Hospital is operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 34,700 people.
