And we've been doing it for over 170 years.If we do our job well, we genuinely add to the prosperity of our country and its people.Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the purpose of this role is to support AMP's maturity and approach to sustainability and ESG through the project management of key sustainability programs and external ESG disclosures.The AMP Sustainability team oversees the development and management of AMP's group wide sustainability strategy by providing strategic advice to business units and senior leadership, supporting business level programs and delivering AMP's external ESG disclosures.How you will make an impactCollaborating with business unit teams to evolve and implement the group sustainability strategy, supporting the execution of action plans aligned with sustainability goals (e.g. climate, reconciliation, modern slavery and financial wellbeing).Managing and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of external disclosures aligned to recognised frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB, TCFD), including sustainability reports and modern slavery statements as part of annual reporting suite.Responding to external ESG benchmarks and surveys, address investor and customer queries, and provide insights to enhance ESG performance.Measuring AMP's carbon footprint across scope 1,2 and 3 emissions (including Bank financed emissions) and setting targets and plans for emission reductions.Fostering meaningful relationships with First Nations partners and project managing the implementation of RAP commitments through RAP Steering committee and working groups.What you will bring to the roleIdeally at least 5 years technical and functional experience relating to corporate sustainability, corporate responsibility, social impact, ESG and/or creating shared valueExperience with coordinating the implementation of Reconciliation Action PlansExperience in carbon accounting and preparing corporate carbon inventories.Experience in social impact evaluation and measurement of social impact programs.Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, science, sustainability, social impact or related disciplinesFor this position, the ideal candidate should have a strategic and analytical mindset, emphasising the importance of sustainability for long term value creation within the business.
