S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time Senior Project Manager to join our Environmental team in Knoxville, Tennessee.About the Role:As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will lead environmental projects in Knoxville and the surrounding regions, focusing on quality, safety, and execution while building strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include conducting site assessments and investigations, developing remedial designs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to achieve environmental and sustainability objectives. A solid understanding of sampling and testing methods, along with knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, is essential for this role.About You:You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or related fieldYou have a minimum of 15 years of environmental consulting experience, including 5-8 years as a project manager role monitoring project scope, schedule, and budget, communicating with clients, oversight project execution, invoicing, budget tracking, and change order/modification requestsYou have a Professional registration (PE and/or PG) in TennesseeYou have experience interacting with regulatory agencies/representativesYou have knowledge of Industrial Hygiene/Hazardous Materials, a plusYou have the knowledge and the ability to use AutoCAD/Civil3D, a plusYou have OSHA 1910.120 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training, a plusAbout S&ME:For over 50 years, S&ME has delivered innovative solutions in geotechnical, civil, environmental, and construction materials, tackling our clients' toughest challenges.
