We are searching for a pioneering Head of Data and Analytics to join our ambitious team in a brand-new role offering the unique opportunity to make a massive impact on shaping our future success. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a data strategy that will transform how we collect, analyse, and leverage data to achieve our business goals. We have ambitious plans for growth, and your data-driven insights will be instrumental in achieving them.Key responsibilities:Spearhead data strategy: Develop and implement a data strategy to optimise data utilisation and drive business growth.Champion data-driven decision-making: Analyse current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-led best practices for improvement.Own customer performance metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for website performance, monitor results, troubleshoot issues, and support strategic data analysis.Empower commercial teams: Collaborate with stakeholders, provide data tools and reports, and identify growth opportunities with actionable business strategies.Inform financial and sales strategies: Provide strategic data insights to finance and sales teams, supporting data-driven pricing strategies.Enhance stakeholder communication: Partner with marketing to create insightful reports and data dashboards for clients and external stakeholders.Streamline workflows with data: Analyse large datasets and build automated tools to enhance efficiency and optimise processes.Foster a data-driven culture: Develop and implement automated tools and dashboards to facilitate company-wide data literacy and understanding of key metrics.Ensure data compliance: Own and collaborate with the legal team to establish effective data management and retention policies.Build a high-performing team: Line manage a Data Analyst and lead the development and growth of a Data Analytics team.Skills and experience:Qualifications and professional experience: A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus a minimum 3 years’ experience in a data/analytics leadership role.Strategic analysis: Possess outstanding mathematical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Data expertise: Expert in Python / SQL for data analysis and data visualisation tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.Data Management: Understanding data governance, data architecture, and data quality processes is crucial.Project Management: Experience managing complex data projects and ensuring successful delivery.Strategic business mind: Exhibit excellent business judgment and strategic thinking abilities.Clear communicator: Effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Problem-solving enthusiast: Possess a strong passion for problem-solving and leveraging data to find solutions.Leadership: Previous experience in successfully building and managing teams, demonstrably driving their professional development.Preferred experience: Experience in the property or utility sector would be an advantage.About us:UniHomes has been named the fastest-growing technology company in Yorkshire and the Northeast in the 2023 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50.
