You will be part of the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents and will be responsible for supporting the site training and HSE activities in a mining environment. This role offers a roster providing work life balance off – 7 on/ 7 off roster with both day/night rotations. This position is based in Moranbah QLD and is a FIFO role for those who do not reside locally. Duties include but are not limited to:Provide first response to incidents on siteAssist a team of Paramedics, Nurses and ESO’s to respond to emergency situationsAssist with training and HSE activities as requiredDegree in ParamedicineAHPRA RegistrationHLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testingAustralian Driver’s License – C Class, open license (Manual, Heavy Rigid is desirable or willing to obtain)Proof of right to work in AustraliaCurrent up to date immunisations – Tetanus, Hepatitis A & BHLTAID014 Provide advanced first aidHLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapyHLTAID011 Provide first aid - (Desirable)HLTAID009 Provide CPR - (Desirable)Computer literacy in Microsoft Office SuiteAll successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment Medical and National Police Check.How to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
