The focus is to develop solutions to achieve code delivery, infrastructure initiatives and end-to-end automation/delivery of key initiatives in OSS (Fulfilment and Core) Domain of Telecom.Collaborate with software developers, system operators, vendor partners and other IT team members to maintain platform infrastructure and code development for critical Application Engineering initiatives. Cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing and operations teams and keep existing networks in mind as they design, plan and test. By leading a team of experts such as Developers and Solution Designers to adopt agile ways of working, you'll support initiatives through the knowledge on Infrastructure and can help build strategy to modernise the platforms.Ready to reimagine your career at Optus?Build distinctive infrastructure & development capabilities for squad members whilst being responsible for team and individuals' professional growth by promoting agile ways of working and understand the roles and responsibilities within Tribes.Establish consistency in chapter area, ensuring squad members develop to have T shaped skill profiles where individuals can perform support and build functionality.Development and modification of code to generate practical outcomes using inputs from existing Optus systems, whilst contributing to the implementation of new systems.Delivery of software applications and development of high quality, within agreed scopeSupport fellow team members, both in sharing technical know-how as well as delivering to agreed time and to implement with technical solution that is robust fit-for-purpose solution delivery at all times.Maintain skills to provide appropriate operational support perform remedial activities.It starts with you!Relevant qualifications and extensive hands on development experience in a Dev-Ops role together with experience working in Squad mode.Demonstrate hands on experience in Key technologies such as Java, SQL, Linux, C++, HTML, Python, Kafka, JMS & JSPExtensive knowledge in a wide area of technologies including Web Services, Groovy, Javascripts, JMS, XML, XSLT, JAVA/J2EE, Oracle WebLogic/JBOSS/TOMCAT/Apache application server, adapters, and Open Source technologies.Intricate understanding of Software Delivery, Service Management & Agile methodologies.
