There are currently two (2) VPS 3 positions available within Eastern Business Services Knox. As the successful applicant, you will be an integral member of the Business Services team completing administrative and financial functions along with mentoring and supervising the Knox Business Services team:Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.Your duties will include:Supervise, lead and mentor Business Services team members located in Knox,High volume of complex purchasing, financial and ancillary functionsExpenditure audit and reportingContract management and stakeholder engagementCompliance and maintenance of registers along with of a range administrative and financial proceduresJournals and Expenditure TransfersAs the successful applicant, you will have:Prior experience in a Business Services capacity desirableDemonstrated audit experience.Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct, train and provide guidance to staff.A thorough knowledge of relevant financial processes and legislation.Previous experience in purchasing and contract management.Proven ability to coordinate the accurate processing of a high volume of work to meet strict deadlines.Requirements and relevant information:Two (2) ongoing positions at Eastern Region, Business Services Division – 20039822 & 20010249.Position location: Eastern Region Headquarters, 420 Burwood Highway Wantirna South 3152Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.Your application must include:ResumeCompleted application form – the word document (2.
