Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (Allied)Location: Atlanta, GAPay Rate: $41/hrDuration: 13 weeks contractShift: 8hr DayGuarantee Hours: 40Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, function, and overall well-being.Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition.Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home.Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Qualifications:Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Experience:Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.Experience in various physical therapy settings, such as outpatient, inpatient, home health, or rehabilitation, is beneficial.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions from the supervising Physical Therapist.Proficiency in therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.Knowledge of physical therapy practices, techniques, and modalities.Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a diverse caseload.If you are interested.
