Supporting administrative functions, with a particular emphasis on effective information and knowledge management, ensuring integration of projects and cohesive communication within EP and externally to UTS stakeholders.EP is part of the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education & Students). EP works closely with all UTS Faculties and Student Support Units.Detailed DescriptionAbout the RoleThe Executive Support & Project Coordinator is accountable to the Manager, Business Operations with responsibility for executive support to the Education Portfolio's leadership team, and special projects coordination.The position supports the leadership team with executive support, with a particular emphasis on operationalising effective information and knowledge management for the Portfolio, ensuring integration of projects within the Portfolio, and cohesive communication within the Unit and externally to UTS stakeholders.With examples, please outline within your covering letter, how you meet the following key selection criteria:1. Demonstrated high-level organisational and administrative skills with the ability to coordinate projects in line with existing policy, providing financial, policy and planning advice when necessary, and the ability to exercise high level diagnostic and problem-solving skills.2. Proven track record in overseeing the flow of information and work in a busy office environment, and to work with a high degree of accuracy and within tight timelines.3. Demonstrated ability to action decisions, undertake research and prepare and present papers/reports, and to provide executive support to committees.4. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills particularly in relation to communication with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior officers of the University and external agencies.5. The ability to work with large enterprise systems, e.g. financial, HR and administrative enterprise systems.Remuneration/SalaryRemuneration & BenefitsBase Salary Range: $102,458 to $113,344 pa (HEW 7)This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of s include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.University of Technology Sydney
