Right now, we are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our team based in our Burnie workshop.In this permanent full time role, we can offer you competitive pay rates with allowances, RDO, full PPE, a clean, safe and cohesive work environment, overtime and Cat parts store discounts. Plus, you can choose from either a 5x2 or 4x3 roster, to suit your personal needs.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will support the wider Product Support Parts & Service team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money.What a day typical day will look like:Heavy fabrication and welding workAir-arc gougingWelding with Flux cored wireWorking with Bisalloy and cast steelsStraightening of heavy componentsService reporting – job completion paperworkNew product manufacturingGeneral workshop duties, as well as technical guidance and supportABOUT YOUYou are a trade qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator with a great attitude and work ethic, and you pride yourself on high quality work and attention to detail.To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and attributes:Excellent communication skillsPlace a high importance and focus on safetyBe driven with a willingness to coach and mentor apprenticesHave experience within the heavy machinery industry (ideal)Hold a current forklift licenseAbility to work unsupervised on site as requiredWhy work for us?Joining the William Adams family, you will instantly feel welcome and supported.
