Job Description
The purpose of this role is to provide the necessary leadership in our newly leased warehouse facility and provide the appropriate management of HSE, the warehouse staff, the movement of goods, the secure control and storage of all goods, the safe movement of all vehicles, the picking and preparation of all outbound deliveries/pickups and the overall provision of a supply chain management service as required.Key Result Areas: * Ensure that the warehouse is run with a maximum focus on safety in all areas with a view to targeting zero lost working daysClose liaison with SCP function to ensure smooth scheduling of inbound deliveries to enable rapid booking/put away and optimised housekeepingStrong stakeholder focus to ensure adhesion to allotted pickup slots and 100% availability of Build required componentsImplement best practice stock management to drive rapid put away and optimised pick and pack completionMaintain robust systems to track every material movement within the warehouse to enable best in class performance management and reporting capabilityImplement latest technology to drive improved performance and securitySupport all additional, non-supply chain activities such as the laboratory and training facilities.Report and fix any non-conforming activities in the spirit of continuous improvement.Manage all aspects of the NBH Office to deliver a clean, safe working environment for all employees and support all facilities growth projects as we scales.Managing company assets through the system.Track all calibration and maintenance of all company assets.Join a relaxed atmosphere where you will be encouraged to contribute|Equal Opportunity EmployerPerson SpecificationEssential:Appropriate HSE qualificationsMinimum 5 years' experience working in a leadership role within a medium sized warehouse.Knowledge of advanced warehousing practicesAbility to work in and lead a teamClear written and verbal communicationRobust IT skillsLeader, mentor,Attention to detailMy client is a fast growing Telecoms company dedicated to driving change across the local area and beyond.25 days holiday plus an extra day off for your birthdayflexible and hybrid workingGenerous pension - employer 6%, employee 3%Discretionary bonusMedical cash planLife assuranceShut down over ChristmasMichael Page
