Job Description:Learning, Teaching & CurriculumPermanent/continuing, full-time appointmentLevel 5: $78,579 - $88,865 + 17% superannuationThe Careers & Employability unit is part of the Learning, Teaching & Curriculum division within the DVC (Academic & Student Life) portfolio at UOW. Working in flexible, responsive multidisciplinary teams, LTC works in partnership with stakeholders to drive innovation and sector-leading practice for the benefit of our students, and to secure UOW's position at the forefront of higher education excellence.Teams within Careers & Employability develop and deliver services and programs in collaboration with Faculties, Divisions and students to enhance students' career readiness and employability. In curriculum, the team enables learning and teaching transformation through the development of innovative approaches to Career Development Learning (CDL) and Work Integrated Learning (WIL).The Careers & Employability Unit currently has an opportunity for a full-time, ongoing Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer.About the RoleThe purpose of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer provides administrative support for the delivery of WIL activities delivered by the Careers & Employability Academic team in the LTC. The WIL Officer works with subject co-ordinators, students, industry partners, and other internal stakeholders and is responsible for the operational and administrative requirements for WIL activities.The successful candidate will have:A university degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent training and/or relevant professional experience deemed to be equivalent.Administrative experience including the use of efficient and effective business processes and provision of support to multiple stakeholders.The capacity to forward plan and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.Demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative and independent judgement.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to communicate information effectively and appropriately to diverse stakeholders in both written and oral formats.Comprehensive information technology skills, including experience in the use of databases and Microsoft Office suite (including at least intermediate level of Excel knowledge).Demonstrated commitment to applying culturally respectful and safe practices in the workplace and demonstrating respect and inclusiveness of diverse people in all work practices.How to ApplyApplicants are requested to submit a CV and cover letter.
