Job Description
The Vineyards at Napa Valley is looking for a Maintenance Tech to undertake the responsibility of upgrading & preserving the good condition and functionality of our residential apartment community. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind, attention to detail and a strong skill set in a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain & upgrade units, grounds, and common areas in the best possible condition.Compensation package includes 50% discount for onsite apartment.ResponsibilitiesSurvey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standardsPerform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessaryMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionalityInspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when neededPerform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticideConduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) and pool maintenanceOn call responsibilities as assigned by property managerSkillsProven experience as maintenance technicianStrong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drying walling, painting, etc.Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strengthHigh school diploma or equivalentSalary: $23 per hourNOTE: Wages are determined based on the following factors candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity*Please note in an effort to separate us from falsified job ads and other scammers, we only post legitimate job openings on trusted websites and will never ask for sensitive information such as your SSN or your bank details before the on-boarding process takes place.#INDNational Property Management Associates Inc
