Transport Coordinator - expanding distribution business - Monday to Friday roleThe Transport Coordinator will be responsible for the belowManage and optimise transport operations to ensure timely delivery of products.Coordinate with various departments to enhance supply chain operations.Implement strategies to minimise logistics cost and improve efficiency.Ensure compliance with transport laws and regulations.Maintain accurate records of all transport activities.Resolve any transport-related issues or delays.Perform regular reviews of transport processes and implement improvements where necessary.Deal with the administrative tasks on a daily basisPlan for delivery routes and coordinate with drivers at all timesexpanding distribution business|Monday to Friday roleA successful Transport Coordinator should have:Proven experience in a transport or logistics coordinator role within a distribution, logistics or transport operationExcellent organisational and coordination skills.Knowledge of transport regulations and procedures.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistics issues efficiently.Excellent attention to detail and top notch admin skillsStrong geographical knowledgeOur client is a well-established player in the distribution industry based in Bury St Edmunds.
