We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Therapist for our Mental Health clinical team. The Lead Therapist will play a pivotal role in clinical care at our center, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained and innovative approaches are integrated into our programs. This position oversees a small client caseload, has guaranteed time for paperwork and supporting other team members.The Forge Recovery is passionate about innovative care that meets the client's needs. If you are looking for a place to make a difference and to be better than the status quo, our team is a great fit.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Client SupportBased on the assessments, the lead therapist will develop individualized treatment plans that may include a combination of individual and group therapy, and other evidence-based practicesProvide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at overcoming dependencies and promoting positive changeDevelop realistic treatment goals with clients in accordance with ethical and legal protocolsRecord KeepingConduct thorough client assessments and maintain detailed progress notesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans, ensuring that they are compliant with state and federal regulations.Work closely with clinical director on chart audits and signing off on individual and group notes.TeamworkEstablish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholdersCollaborate with team members in staff meetings and clinical supervision sessions.Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving the overall quality of care provided to clients.Work closely with clinical and program director and other clinical professionals, such as psychiatrists, nurses to coordinate care and ensure that patients receive comprehensive treatment.Education, Experience, & SkillsMasters degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fieldDirect clinical, case management experience and knowledge regarding rehabilitation.Certificates & Licenses: LMFT, LCSW, LPCCGood computer skills (Microsoft Office and KIPU Systems Client Management Software)Familiarity with substance treatment industry: 12 step terminology, CBT, MI etcStrong clinical and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal skillsAdditional Requirements & Certificates & LicensesCPR/First AIDValid Driver’s LicenseNegative TB test results within past yearMedical clearance to work within past yearAbility to pass random drug screeningsJob Status: Full-time, Non-exemptLocation: On-site in Santa AnaTravel: None requiredBenefits:Medical, dental and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer matching.Paid vacation.Paid sick time.Paid holidays.Family Leave.Employer paid Life Insurance.Salary: Licensed: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)Powered by JazzHRThe Forge Recovery Center
