We have an challenging but rewarding fixed term temporary full-time opportunity for you to join our Strategic Communications Branch based in Brisbane CBD.Job details Position status Fixed Term TemporaryPosition type Flexible full-timeOccupational group Marketing, PR & CommunicationClassification AO5Workplace Location Brisbane Inner CityJob ad reference QLD/SPRD580783Closing date 11-Aug-2024Yearly salaryFortnightly salaryTotal remunerationSalary OtherJob duration Until 30 August 2025Contact person Steven KentContact details 0414 762 314Access theThe roleYour key responsibilities:Coordinate within a team of editorial and publishing professionals to research, write and edit online content.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.Provide advice and assist business areas in developing content appropriate for publishing online, including the creation of metadata, content repurposing, and meeting accessibility requirements.Offer expert advice to Team Leaders on designing and publishing editorial content for Queensland Health's websites and intranets.Work within frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Queensland Health's online communication channels, including developing, analysing, and implementing best practices in usability and accessibility.Provide editorial support to many concurrent online projects, demonstrating efficient use of resources within constraints laid down by senior management.The successful personYou will have demonstrated:Ability to research, write and edit web content.Good communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work as a team member to deliver successful outcomes.Good analytical, copywriting and problem-solving skills, particularly in an online content development and/or project management context.Ability to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.Experience in delivering significant or complex digital projects within agreed budgets and timeframes.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
