Position: Mechanical EngineerPosition Type: Full-TimeSalary: $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuationLocation: Auburn NSW 2144Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and supervise the mechanical maintenance activities of the plant andDevelop mechanical system design solutions based on engineering principles and involvement in presenting the solution to theInterpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems, and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget.Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of contract terms and conditions and various Company needs from Vendors andCreate and finalize designs and procedures to meet projectCreate accurate Estimates and bills of Materials for theDefine equipment and parts from external suppliers orConduct cost and time estimation. Oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality, and allottedResolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected costEnsure that all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently in accordance with the company’s policies andProvide critical review and guidance to teammate's analysis andMaintain accurate records and files according to qualityParticipate and support the Integrated Systems (Quality, Safety and Environment Management).Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedMinimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a heavy industryExcellent communication and interpersonalFamiliarity with maintenance management softwareAbility to work under pressure and meet tightWillingness to work extended hours when required.Job2Go
