You are an experienced data analyst with expert skills, who has worked with large workforce/HR datasets with a primary focus on workforce compliance reporting, analytics and business improvement to deliver quality workforce analytics for the department.You have a passion for conducting exploratory data analysis and research to identify actionable insights and the discipline to manage and ensure accurate and timely workforce compliance reporting for our stakeholders.This role will have close working relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the department.Your role will also include managing HR system service provisions by third-party providers such as Queensland Shared Services to the department.As a member of this team, you will produce a range of regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards for senior management.Job details Position status PermanentPosition type Full-timeOccupational group AdministrationClassification AO6Workplace Location Brisbane Inner CityJob ad reference QLD/578417/24Closing date 30-Jul-2024Yearly salaryFortnightly salaryTotal remunerationSalary OtherJob durationContact person Cameron BunkumContact details Phone: 3097 5616Access theAs Senior Analyst, you will specifically:Deliver critical operational & strategic workforce planning and workforce compliance reporting by undertaking detailed research and analysis of the department's workforce payroll, productivity, and demographic data.Plan and deliver on your data analytics work to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced working environment, focusing on providing clear actionable insights for the business to consider for workforce planning and HR strategies.Maintain an efficient workforce data management program that focuses on data quality to meet a highly responsive workforce compliance reporting requirements.Maintain a highly responsive HR reporting and systems service to our clients and stakeholders.Coordinate and support correspondence activities relating to workforce profile information for estimates, parliamentary and other critical correspondence processes.Ensure that workforce profile information and reporting provided is consistent and aligned with Queensland Government HR reporting practice set by the Public Service Commission.Monitor and report on the trend in provision of Payroll and HR services (types and volume) from Queensland Shared Services to the department and internal customers to inform improvement strategies for service consumption within the department.Co-design data visualisations from your analysis with our customers and implement them in strategic and operational HR dashboards (e.g. Power BI) for senior leaders across the department.Maintain and further develop the Workforce Analytics platforms with our technical partners in the business intelligence platforms space.Foster a collaborative team environment and help develop capabilities of your team members and colleagues.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote and .Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.DocumentsBefore applying for this vacancy please ensure you read the documents below.Queensland Government
