Our clients are looking for one to one care, delivered by a highly qualified care professionals who are matched based on location, personality, and availability.What makes Home Instead different:We offer guaranteed income for those looking individuals who have 16 hours a availability (this is given after 3 month probation period)We also offer 0-hour contracts for those looking for flexibility and have limited availability.Salary rate: £12.50 - £13.00 per hourAdditional to the above hourly rate, you will be paid for any travel time between clients at £11.44 per hour pro rata.Additional fuel allowance of 30p per mileDouble bank holiday pay rateClient matches – once you make a match you will keep returning to same person and enjoy a close relationship.Job DescriptionHours required:You will need to have availability to be matched to clients between the hours of 8 am -12 midday. Other peak hours include 4pm - 8pm.Home Instead Carers will deliver the following client services:Minimum of 1-hour visits with the client’s home.Assisting with personal hygiene practices.Administering or prompting medication.Light housekeeping.Shopping & running ad-hoc errands.Companionship services.Meal preparation.Nutrition and hydration supportLiaising with the Home Instead & daily record keeping.Building a strong relationship & connecting on a personal level.QualificationsHome Instead carers are trained in the following subjects:Personal hygiene care.Medication management.Basic Life support.Moving & handling.Food safety.Dementia awareness.Fire safety.Safeguarding adults.You will work towards achieving your Care certificate.Additional InformationOffers are subject to the following stages:Completion of application & face to face interview.Successful references.Paid in-house training & online home learning.Clear enhanced DBS.
