Job DescriptionWe have an excellent opportunity to join a holding company in Luxembourg.Our client, investing in European investment projects, especially those with strong ESG credentials, and seeks an additional member to join the Finance Team.As this is a small team, you will work on a variety of functions, with complex and more simple accounting tasks. You will gain exposure to the investments held in the various holding company structures.It’s a small friendly team, you will be given autonomy in your tasks and have the flexibility in the office. They operate a flexi-time arrangement, adopt working from home policies and have some weeks which will be busy and have tight deadlines and others which will be much quieter (hence the flexi-time concept).· You will work closely with the Finance Director in performing the accounting and reporting functions at the company· Oversight of the corporate accounting of the Luxembourg entities and direct foreign subsidiaries· Build a relationship lasting and beneficial relationship with service providers to generate high quality service delivery· Supervision of auditing and consolidation requirements for the group of entities· Develop and maintain efficient internal controls and business processes· Identify and help solve critical local accounting, reporting, and operational issues· Supervision of Bank Transfer system and process, Tax reporting management and Cash management· Develop and maintain strong relationship with advisors and third parties as appropriate· Participation and supervision of monthly and quarterly regulatory reportingExperience required:· University degree in accounting or finance is preferred (ideally with a professional accounting qualification)· 3-5 years of accounting and reporting experience for alternative investment structures (holding companies [SPVs], or financing companies) is needed· You MUST have experience working in Luxembourg and working in Luxembourg now.· There is a strong preference for accounting knowledge of hold co.s with infrastructure assets· Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS is preferred· 3+ years working in Luxembourg is essential· Fluent English· Team orientated, able to work in an unstructured environment, willing to get involved from A-Z· Be adaptable and flexibleIf you are interested in this position and want to know more, please apply in English as a priority!Follow us on LinkedIn or check euroluxconsulting.com for other great job opportunities.We handle all applications in the strictest confidence.We will contact you if you make our shortlist.
