Job DescriptionGreenfield is thrilled to be representing our client, a boutique Service Provider, in their search for a Sr Real Estate Fund Accountant to join their team. In Luxembourg for over 15 years and present in 10 financial hubs, they developed a strong reputation in various locations and themselves represent top end PE/RE clients.The Role:Prepare annual IFRS financial statements and cash flow statements for various funds, ensuring compliance with Luxemburg GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.Conduct periodic investor reporting, including the calculation of net asset value (NAV), and review fund accounting prepared by junior team members.Consolidate group accounts, coordinate year-end audits, and facilitate efficient review processes for bank payments and supporting documents.Assist in client billing and debt collection processes, cultivate strong client relationships through proactive communication, and act as the primary liaison for clients and third-party service providers.Provide guidance and coaching to team members, delegate tasks, monitor progress to ensure timely completion, and support junior team members in handling complex transactions.The Profile:A degree in Accounting or similar, ACCA or other relevant certification highly appreciatdStrong experience with Lux Gaap and IFRSProven experience in Lux Gaap, IFRS and US Gaap ideallyAt least 3 to 5 years’ experience in accountingFluency in English is mandatory, German or French would be a strong assetAble to prioritize and work in a fast paced environmentGreat people skills, team player and problem solverProficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)If you are interested in this position or would like to discuss other roles that we are currently recruiting for, please forward your CV in English to Damien Van Bouvelen by applying online.Greenfield is a Luxembourg recruitment agency specializing in the Accounting & Controlling, Operational Finance & Banking, Legal and Human Resources sectors.
