For those who dream big and push boundaries on the ground and in the stars to change the world for the better, we’ll take you there.We’re on the hunt for an Electromechanical Assembler on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.The Position:Perform assembly of electromechanical products and SMT machine operating. Level of responsibility: Structured work processes. Some analysis is required before independently selecting from known processes.Responsibilities:Prepare components.Proceed with the tinning of components.Manually assemble through-hole (TH) and surface mount technology (SMT) components on printed circuit boards.Operate and adjust automated inspection and assembly equipment.Prepare, handle and use polymeric products for component bonding.Install cables.Mechanically integrate modules, flex and printed circuit boards.Inspect, check and validate compliance of certain tasks performed by colleagues.Support Research and Development.All other related tasks.Qualifications/Requirements:College diploma or secondary school vocational diploma in one of the following fields: electromechanical, mechanical, aeronautical or equivalent.2 to 5 years of relevant experience.A combination of other experiences and pertinent education can be considered.Plan Reading.Basic knowledge of the principle of tolerances and geometrical dimensions.Knowledge of standards IPC-A-610Ability to recover and enter data with a computer system.Use of production databases.Fine manual dexterity.Good knowledge of French.
