Job DescriptionWe are excited to be working with a leading asset manager in the alternative investments sector. Their office in Luxembourg seeks a Conducting Officer to lead the Luxembourg Compliance function and be the Conducting Officer for Compliance. This is an opportunity to join an international, successful and growing business, where your ability to communicate effectively within the business is key. Knowledge of real estate, private equity or credit investment strategies is essential.Supported by a local compliance professional and a broader European compliance team, you will have real autonomy to further shape the compliance procedures for the company, manage reporting and various compliance/control processes whilst bringing added value to the business through a compliance culture.Summary of Responsibilities:Implement rules, processes and procedures to ensure a strong compliance cultureLiaise with the regulator as necessaryDevelop and maintain company compliance policiesProvide the Board with guidance on regulatory change and impact assessmentsImplement new regulations into the companyMonitor and oversee local providers and conduct due diligence visitsAct as RC/MLRO locally; liaise with AML teams and service providers accordinglyProvide compliance related reporting functions, to the Board, CSSF etc..Ensure all record keeping, PEP and high risk logs are maintainedRequirements include:Prior Luxembourg experience is a non-negotiable essential, and a stable prior careerPrior approval by the CSSF as a Conducting Officer. Exceptional candidates who are not yet approved but are likely to be approved due to extensive prior experience in Luxembourg may be consideredMinimum 10 years of experience in a compliance roleSolid understanding of a variety of Alternative investments including 1 or more of real estate, private equity, and / or private creditExcellent regulatory knowledge of the Luxembourg funds environmentFluent English (business working level) with another European language being a plusProactive, able to prioritise, detail orientated, good team player, rigorousApply now in English if you already work in Luxembourg and want to know more!Follow us on LinkedIn or check euroluxconsulting.com for other great job opportunities.We handle all applications in the strictest confidence.We will contact you if you make our shortlist.
